Hello, I have an issue with my HDMI out on my computer. I am attempting to connect it to a 26" Vizio to use as a monitor. The Vizio works very well with the same HDMI cord using my friend's identically-spec'd M14x, but when I plug mine in the TV displays a blank screen saying "Invalid format" or "no input detected". My screen turns blank, simply showing my wallpaper (implying the TV is the other part of my extended display) but my desktop never shows up on the TV. Sometimes it flickers in and out of the picture, and sometimes the picture finally shows up, but it shakes and shudders the entire time. Compared to my friend's identical computer with the same TV and HDMI cord, this makes no sense. Is my HDMI output broken? It worked fine when I initially got it and used it on another TV. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

you may need to alter the setting in the graphics driver suite. your best bet is checking that they are all set the same as your friend's m14x. could be an issue of refresh rates or resolutions or scaling.

Also try another TV and report back.
