    HD bay screw stripped - help!

    I tried to remove my HD and one of the screw head stripped! it won't budge anymore. Anyone have any ideas? is epoxy the screw with something and turn it out will help?

    I have done the red loctite or jb weld with Allen key trick and I jve success. That would be a worst case scenario option though. Good luck.

    You can try a rubber band and try to get it to unscrew. Worst case you could solder the screwdriver to the stripped screw head and try it that way, OR dremel the screwhead into a flathead and then use a small flathead.

    No. But I don't think it's gonna work as the head kinda rounded shape already :(..but if I can find a rubber band I will try it..
