Alright, so I've had my AW M14x R1 for about just under 2 years now, I now a decent amount about computers but I can't seem to figure out what is going on with my graphics lately. I've been having this issue for about 2 weeks now where my computer runs just fine when browsing the web/watching videos online but when I start up a game that requires a bit more juice, my graphics/fps drop to roughly 15%~ of what they are normally running at. occasionally when I reboot my system a prompt comes up stating that my computer's power adapter wattage cannot be determined/unknown, but it doesn't seem to be the actual power adapter. I can't figure out what is truly causing this issue and I've tried multiple things so far including:

unplugging AC adapter, removing battery and holding power button for 30 seconds
tried a different AC power adapter compatible for the AW M14x
checked power options to see if everything is set to "max performance"
used AlienAutopsy to check for any issues, none found, passed all tests
currently using BIOS A08, re-downloaded and flashed, nothing changed
I don't have the computer overclocked in any way because I didn't really have the need to do it

The only way I can explain the graphics issue difference is that the graphics are acting like my computer is running on battery when it isn't, it's charging like normal. I haven't tried a different battery yet due to them being a little "pricey" just to test to see if that's the issue, and since Alienautopsy is saying that my battery is passing makes it seem like there's something else wrong with it.

If anyone knows what's causing this and if there's a fix for it somehow that I haven't been able to find, I'd really appreciate any feedback or info. Thanks

Have you ever checked the fan outlets/heatsinks for dust build up? - they might need a good clean up if they are blocked up as if the GPU is overheating, it'll have a similar effect you are experiencing with the FPS drops.
