    hey so im ordering my laptop tomorrow morning, and i talked with the sales rep and i used the student discount but i didnt get much of a discount.
    My specs are:
    -Intel I7 2630
    -1.5gb 555m
    -900p resolution
    -6205? wireless card
    -4gb ram 1600mhz (gonna upgrade myself)
    -everything else stock

    for $1375 out the door.
    im gonna try to get the I7 2720 upgrade for the same price when i talk with him tomorrow.

    good deal? any advice to get him to haggle a bit more?

    specs look fine,just one suggestion get intel 6300 wifi card.

    I'd go for the Killer Wireless actually, unless you want the wimax.

    and not much of point in going one up on processor as its does not make much difference when you have turbo boost 2.
    instead i think bigger hdd will help.

    Just ordered laptop :)
    Got everything I said. For $1300 out the door with free next day air!!

    I only got the 2630, I was really on the brink of getting 2720. Hopefully I don't regret it.
    What's the best ram to get? And is it hard to upgrade? Im just getting into computers.
    What are some things I should buy before I get it? SSD?

    hahaha thanks!!!!! if it was my sti, it would be a different outcome lol!! u must have done alot of to ur rsx to be able to beat an sti. hahaha naw man my friend has an rsx type s and they are fun cars.

    lol yea i have an AEM CAI and Custom cat-back exhaust with performance tuning....also cool air intake system....still it was a close drag though...I think he missed 4th gear in a hurry lmao!!!

    Imagine how i felt when I sent the first one back and they had to build a replacement.........................took forever. Just sat looking at the original one for a week. Torment, swear it kept looking at me saying " go on touch me, you know you want to big boy" lol
