I just bought a refurb alienware m14x off ebay , since delloutlet doesnt offer international shipping , i was wondering if i got a good buy?

Here are the specs of the system :

    I7-2630QM , 750GB 7200 RPM HDD , 3GB GT555M , Killer Wireless , 1600x900 Res , 8GB @ 1600MHZ Ram . Oh and sexy nebula red.

For around 1200$ , i know i could get it cheaper off the outlet , but do you think its a bad deal specially since i really wanted the nebula red.

As far as i can see, its a really good deal.If u can get the same spec but with 1.5gb , you will be saving yourself money because there is not much (3%-5%) difference in their performance.

But before you buy it, make sure to ask the reseller about ownership stuff . because i have read 2-3 guys purchasing m14x from ebay and ending up with ownership issues which doesnt allow them to get their warranty transferred. better safe than sorry, right?

The seller said he would transfer the warranty to my name and address when i receive the laptop , so i hope thats not a problem.

    Thanks for the heads up.

That's a great deal. I paid 150 more for mine new from alienware. Specs are in my tag, but you got way more than I have for less.

I think you paid the price of a similar machine that would be sold by another company, so yes you had a great deal.
    You saved on the markup.

As long as it works properly that is a great deal, I payed about 600-700more for mine with less specs from Dell.
