I was thinking I would upgrade from my m11xr2 to the m14x, (I will sacrifice some portability for some extra power) but I have a quick question, does the m14x have any hinges issues like m11x's did? I do not wanna buy another laptop that has "Known" hinge issues.

It does not have a defective hinge issue to my understanding. Though that doesn't mean they might/will break at some time. For the most part, the m14x is a solid machine.

    Seconded.

    It's a tank. A very powerful tank.
And the portability is decent, if you consider what it can do.

Thanks for reassurance, also I have one more question. What's the best color to choose, I have a stealth black m11xr2 but I wanted to know if the nebula red looks tackie, because I feel that pictures don't do red justice

I wanted red, but had to settle for black. The black is nice, and complements any alien fx color your choose, red doesn't mix so much with all the fx colors, but the red chassis is more eye candy by itself.

If you are not in a hurry,I would say wait till black Friday. You might find a nice discount by that time.
