Whenever i run the game using nvidia especially for the games like DOTA 2 or BF3, i usually get 98C the highest, normally will be around 80-90C.
Do I need to tear apart everything and paste GPU and CPU myself? Or call dell to do thermal pasting?
Last time when the tech came down to change the mobo, i notice he used thermal pad instead of grease. Is thermal pad help reduce the heat like grease as well?

    Another heat thread?

    You have an i7 yes?

    1. Disable Turbo Boost Via Bios.
    2. Close all non essential programs.
    3. Lift the rear of the laptop using a book or folder so the fan has more intake.

Yes i7. Mine is 8 months old.

I always use it with cooler master plus use two small hinges to lift up the rear for good ventilation.
I enable turbo boost and never OC and running on a08 bios
