    I have a Alienware 14 with a 750m Graphics Card. I've upgraded to Windows 10.

Most games that I try to play open up in a black screen and I can still hear the sound. The game is responsive: when i click it skips the menu.

What do I do? I've tried nearly everything. I've installed older drivers, new drivers etc. Everything short of reinstalling windows.

    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you

Does it happen on both, windowed and fullscreen? It seems like a driver issue that could be fixed with a refresh/reinstall of the OS. Also, you could try a monitor.

Yes it happens with both fullscreen and windowed mode.

So a full windows reinstall? I was hoping it wouldn't come to that.
    Any other ideas?

    Here's what you can try:

    Video driver reinstallation
    DirectX Reinstalaltion
    Clean Boot
Game Reinstallation (if it happens with only one)
If none of that does it, Windows will need a refresh.
