    When I launched OpenHardware Monitor, it said the max GPU core was 203 Mhz or something, even though I'm plugged in and on high performance.

    Does this only go up when playing a game?

    Edit: Nevermind, I didn't know what the max meant.

    Yeah like trooper said, you're pretty much answer your own question lol. That's Optimus's advantage - when you arent gaming it will switch to the low usage mode, and when you start a game or something that demand graphic or programs that you have whitelist it, then it will pump up the Mhz to whatever clock you're on, and I assume that you're on default which is 590/1180/900.
