    Hi Guys,

I restored my m14x to factory image and now the fan kicks in, to the MAX, repeatedly , while just browsing or any minor tasks . Its driving me crazy. It didnt do this before.

    Any fix on this?
I searched on the forums and couldnt find anything.

    all help is appreciated.

What temperatures are you getting? Have you checked the running processes list for a process that's eating up CPU? Maybe the disk is being indexed by Windows.

Check for background processes, the realtek software was taking up at least 25 percent of my cpu usage, which made the fans constantly turn on, i just unchecked realtek in the msconfig start up menu. No difference in sound and no noise, you can try that.

I guess, you get a 1 year warranty by default. That is a lot of stuff messed up tho lol.
