    Hi to all.

After read a lot of threads with different solutions to make it work properly the commands FN+F2;Fn+F1;FN+Pause (command center), I cant find how make it work. Ill try to reinstall OSD, Command Center (both downloaded from Dell support site). Ill change the OSD version from Dell with OSD custom version and nothing work. For the battery function, i already install the battery software around notebookreview forums but doensn't help. Ill try the OSD version for M11X but haven't luck. Any one have an other idea to make this keys work properly?? I really apreciate any help with this.

I guess the keyboard might have been corrupt, if so then call Dell to have it replace. For other version of OSD, I wouldnt recommend you try it, because it would help damage or corrupt the keyboard due to hardware incompatibility, unless you sure that it is compatible with the M14x's keyboard.

some minutes ago, i just uninstall the OSD from dell and install the version included in the drivers DVD but have the same result. Ill try the M11x because the tech support recomends me this. I thin your'e right CGSDR, maybe the keyboard has been corrupt. The last chance is back to factory defaults trought alienrespawn.

i was thinking: is there any way to verify if the combination of FN+PAUSE is working fine (to discard a hardware issue)??

You install the OSD from the DVD that came with the laptop??? Then I quite certain that the keyboard is corrupt, because on Dell Community website there's a thread remind people NOT to use the OSD from the M14x Resource DVD as the newer BIOS will corrupt the keyboard.

I never read (or found ) that thread. Is good to know now. For the record, i just restore the OS as factory default and all works fine again. The version of the OSD in the factory default is 0.31.1.8C (same as the last version of Dell Support). Only the version of the Command Center is different: 2.6.14.0 (built-in) and 2.6.8.0 in support page. I think the last version of CC have a minor bugs. Thanks CGSDR for your replys.
