    Hi

I just picked up an MX14 this monday as a desktop replacement for my old q666 xps 720.

I have it hooked up to my alienware 2310 3d screen 1920x1080 running at 60htz

it runs great an all so far so this weekend I decided to try a game and loaded up world or warcraft.

I have the game whitelisted to use the GT555m vid card but I cannot increase the resolution beyond 1600x1200 in the game. I even tried editing the game config settings to force it to use the better resolution still no dice.

    any ideas ?

Have you already tried setting it up so only the external monitor is being used?

Yeah i tried that already, its really baffling becase when I am in normal windows 7 i the screen resolution is maxed at 1900x1080 , its just when I fire up world of warcraft that It limits my resulution to 1600x1200.

I dont know if I need to return this mx14 for mx17r3 or something, I love this machine especialy the form factor and the soeed for such a small footprint.
