    External Battery?

    8.5 hour military flight with no power outlets. Other than purchasing and charging a replacement battery (where to buy?) and cracking the case in-flight and replacing the discharged original battery, is there an external battery at 19V 7.7A output to be found? I tried [email protected], but they don't list the M14xR1, possibly because I don't know the size number of the tip for the M14xR1. John

    You could try something like the ENERGIZER XP18000.
    That's the first thing that poped up when I tried to look for " Laptop external battery " on google ( google.fr with a french search ).

    I don't know if this works well or not.

    I guess you could contact DELL customer care and order a spare battery. I dont think you will find the same model elsewhere. These batteries are pretty much configured for each system at times.
