How long do you guys think the 650M will let us play games on high/max settings? A year? Two? Do you plan on upgrading next year to the R3 or waiting longer?

Two years max for any mobile GPU that's not a GTX version. This is one of the reason why I plan to upgrade to the M17x instead due to its upgradable and capability GTX GPU. For High/max setting, dont expect too much because mobile GPU is not as powerful as its desktop counterpart, i.e GT650 vs GT650M, at same resolution and setting, there is no guarantee that the GT650M will perform same as the desktop's.
