    Ethernet port not working! HELP!

    whenever i plug in a ethernet cable, no lights come up at all on the ethernet port, and no internet signal pops up or anything. tried with many ethernet cables that look fine and brand new, still not working. HELP!

    Go into your network settings and make sure the LAN is not set to 'disabled'

    if you cant find it

    Go control panel
    network and sharing center
    then on the left go to 'change adapter settings'

    also might be worth checking device manager to see if the driver is having issues.
