    Ethernet Controller problem [URGENT HELP PLEASE]

    A couple of days ago I turned on my M14x and it did not connect to the internet (via cable), but the Wi-Fi still works. I checked the Device Manager and this is what I got:

    Atheros AR8151 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller (NDIS 6.20)
    Device type: Unknown
    Manufacturer: Atheros
    Location: PCI bus 7, device 0, function 0

    Device status
    This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)

    and on the Driver tab

    Digital Signer: Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility Publisher




    I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling it multiple times but that didn't work. Can someone PLEASE tell me how to fix this
