So I have the demo and have been playing it. Not very happy with performance at all. Only way to pull over 30fps is with all options on bare minimum. If i have AA on one notch and shadows on it's instant drop to 20fps. Anything else drops it into low teens. I have 270 drivers/2630cpu/16x9 screen and use a gpu oc of about 20%.

Just wondering if anyone else is able to pull more fps out of this on higher settings using a dif set of drivers or something.

Are you sure that you're using the GT555m?

So seeing as the duke demo is tied to steam i simply assumed since i had steam whitelisted and all my other games run fine off it this would as well. wrong. Dug around found it added it and voila ultra settings with the first notch of aa clicked and 52 fps. Dumb mistake on my part!

Funny but I just called my buddy (who was watching me play the demo first time I fired it up) and he said the exact same thing once i told him the issue had been fixed lol.

That's awesome! I've been wondering how DNF ran on the m14x.

What resolution were you playing at?

as tsu said I was playing at 16x9. It runs super smooth and literally i have everything cranked but the AA. The AA has 2 settings 1) fsaa and 2)fsax or soemthing like that. I have it on the first.

On a sidenote I'm waiting to see a review or 2 on this game before I buy it as the demo does not have me sold. Mainly the very poor enemy AI. Getting in a gatling gun and having 4 enemies literally all jump the same fence and crouch in the exact same spot is not what i want to see out of a game thats been developed for 12 years. I guess however this demo is actually fairly old so hopefully the AI has been polished.
