Does the M14x have a hard reset button?

Reason I ask is because of the internal battery. Every laptop that I've ever owned (or even used over a period of time) required that I take out the battery at one time or another to get it reset and working. That doesn't seem to be possible with the M14x.

    Thanks

Get a screwdriver, unscrew the back panel, remove the battery, disconnect the battery connector. Tried that?

since the ATX Standart it helps to push the powerbutton for a long time (10sec?). that shuts down the machine hard.

works for desktops and notebooks, even for the PS3.

I didn't get the laptop yet (on the way). But don't you think that a reset button would have been better/easier.

Thanks!! Didn't know that. Although I have used the hold the power button method hundreds of times on desktops, I didn't know that it was a hard reset. You learn things everyday.
