    Does someone has a video of the new Alienware 14 teardown?

    I cant find a single one on the web. Im just want to know how to update the RAM on the 2nd slots behind the keyboard.

    There are only two sodimm slots on the new 14 - easily accessible by removing the base panel. That's it. Simples. ;)

    With that said, it looks like the maximum memory configuration for the 14 is 16gb, until someone releases a 16gb sodimm module like this: AnandTech | I'M Intelligent Memory to release 16GB Unregistered DDR3 Modules

    Until then, you're stuck with 16gb max.....and even if we get 16gb sticks, we don't know for sure if they will work on the 14.....would hope so, though.....

    According to Meaker current Intel CPUs won't support 16GB sodimms due to the simplified memory controller they used. So unfortunately the AW14 is capped at 16GB of ram.

    That's true, just to provide an official word to that. The new Alienware 14 only supports 16Gb of RAM (DDR3L @ 1600mhz)
