    Do you name your M14x?

    Since 2010 I give names to all of my new electronic devices (just for fun).

    It started as a joke, my younger brother and I started calling my PS3 'Jesus' and since then we've given names to just about everything ^^

    My M14xR2 is due to arrive tomorrow and we've named it 'Helios Delta'.


    So, have you given your M14x a name, or are you "too old" to do such a thing?

    The plate on my m18x says "The Beast" lol.

    I didn't really name my m14x, but I've been telling my friends it's my ultra portable gaming laptop. They usually say "it's not THAT small". Then I show them my m18x :D

    We willing to pay for it , so they are not really the money eater lol.


    They are names from different anime lol :p

    Main reason was m18x painted coat called "Gunmetal Black" so it gives me an idea of naming these machine.

    I named my M14x Roswell and my M11x Prescott ;). My other laptops are named Sophie (ThinkPad named after my dog, ha) and Junior (old Asus netbook). I name all my laptops but never any other electronics for some reason.

    My Alienware M14x: Dark Nova.

    Dark is because of my colour option, and Nova is because of meaning of it that apply to the laptop right now, it only shine when it was first released. But I still love the laptop :D

    It's not a computer, but when I was a kid I called the Mobile gas station mascot "Sloppy." (Even though it's supposed to be a red Pegasus horse.) I would have probably called his IBM PS/2 something janitorial sounding, like "Carruthers" or "Smitty." I'm weird like that.
