    Hello

I've got access to some other Dell chargers at work, will they work with the M14x?

    Thanks

I have tried the Dell Inspiron charger.....which is a 65 W power ...upon plugging it in .....it says you have plugged a 65w charger instead of a 150w charger and you will experience a dip in performance and low charging speed ...thats all....otherwise it says there are no issues :D Hope this helps you out ....also i wouldn't recommend using it over a prolonged period of time as in over multiple days...a odd emergency is ok....Please +rep if you are happy :D Cheers!!

The laptop barely charges on 90 W

    An odd emergency is okay?

How could it possibly hurt it?

Yeah, the only warning it gives is about slow charging.
I plugged in a 130W XPS charger, and it gave the warning, and instead of slow charging, it said "plugged in, not charging".

Same thing when I used my 130w saying its plugged in, not charging. But I never test out whether it actually charges or not.

150w is too big to carry around T_T

I would bet that even the lower wattage adapters will charge it if it's off or in standby.
