    Hi guys

I recently got the M14x R2 but I wonder if I have a problem with the LCD panel. In the lower left corner I can see the lamp of the display and it is brighter than the rest of the display. Not that big difference but noticeable. What would you say is this some kind of warranty issue or a "minor" defect that one has to accept? How strict is Dell for such topics, will they replace the panel / align it correctly or do they refuse such things as warranty?
Sure it does not really disturb during normal usage but when watching movies it might get annoying.

Making photo's of it is pretty difficult because of the reflective surface ... But managed it with low light (and accordingly bad picture quality ;) ). As usual pictures can't show this very well but I think it is recognizeable..

In case I send the M14x to Dell - should I restore the factory condition of the hard drive? I deleted the recovery partition and manually installed Windows 7 but of course I do have an Image of the original hard disk layout.

    Thank you all in advance!

    Regards

OK Thank you Luis! I will write an eMail as suggested. Is this eMail and the team behind it valid for all customers or just USA? I am in Germany.
But seems that in the near future I need to go abroad for 1-2 months so maybe it will take a while to get this fixed. Is that a problem for Dell/Alienware?
