Ok, I maxed out nearly everthing in NCP.

    AF 16x
    AA 32x csaa
    etc.

but nothing really changed in game. Frames are steady at 60 with everything on high.
    Whats going on there?

Doesn't matter if it's on or off, still the Same.
I think the beta Client don't allow the "override".

    However, I'm waiting for release.
Not impressed from the Beta at all.

If you getting a steady 60 fps, then you should be happy for it, as it mean that your laptop will be able to max out more fps when the full game release, as for the Beta, it is not a demo nor even a full working product yet, that why they do not allow the override some of the setting. Unless you having problem when playing the Beta, that you should have worry or unhappy about it.

Anyone having trouble with stuttering? if I play at 1600x900 I get good fps, but as soon as I get near an npc or enemy it dips down to 30 for a bit then jumps back up.

    Any ideas?

Yeah the stutter feels like the game is running on the internet...kinda like an MMO or somthing.

Honestly, this beta made me cancel Diablo 3. I will most likely wait for the $29.99.

Not worth the wait. It's a good game but its not worth the hype. :)

Also does the game seem like the image isn't even native resolution? Even when you set it to native.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one with the occasional micro stuttering. I wouldn't go as far as calling it stuttering because it's not actually to the point of full out stuttering. It's more of a small micro annoyance that makes game play seem like its streaming. If this issue persists I will be sure to cancel my preorder as well. besides that micro stuttering the game runs great on the m14x overclocked to 800/1600/1080. with high settings @ 1280x1024 with 60+ FPS with minor dips when you encounter a totally new enemy and the enemy explodes into a million pieces.

i don't even think you need the overclock...the game seriously doesn't look like it uses a heavy shader or too many effects.

My game runs at locked 62 fps constant and I'm at 725 mhz...I don't think if you take away 135 mhz it will impact it too much :p

Hm I don't get close to the FPS you guys are getting. I'm usually around 40-50 with many stutters. Everything is set to off or low, Low GFX mode and AA off..

Could it be because I'm playing it via HDMI on a 1080p screen?

Increasing the resolution will always lower the game's performance :)

I'm getting 60+ FPS with no stutter, maxed with low shadows on 1600x900, so 40-50 FPS is great at 1080. Just not sure about the stutters ...could be the beta, because my brother's high-end Asus was stuttering too.
