Anyone having issues playing Deus Ex? I downloaded my copy from Steam and I can't get past the first 30 seconds of gameplay in walking thru the lab. My screen always freezes and I have to force close the program.

Works like a charm on mine.
Already played it for 30 to 40 hours and it only crashed once while loading in that whole time.

got it figured out by dropping the .inf files into the drivers directory and rerunning setup.

However Steam is now minimizing the game at random sparse moments. I don't have AVG installed so I'm not sure what it could be. I am running Dropbox, but can't see why that would be a problem.

    UPDATE 8/31/11:
went to customize Notifications area and selected hide icons and notifications, but still getting screen minimized during gameplay
