Hi, I am just wondering what I can do to try to get more speed out of my Crucial M4 64GB.

    Here's some background info...

    -Current speeds:
    Sequential Read: 256 MB/s
    Sequential Write: 107 MB/s

-Have tried tests with both Intel RST installed/uninstalled, didn't make much of a difference either way

    -Bios A08 w/ AHCI setting

In all benchmarks I have seen online, the drive gets about 500 MB/s read. Should I be worried here?!

Bios A08 limits your speed at SATA 2. To get SATA 3 speed you would need to flash to bios A05 or lower. But there has been a problem of crashing freezing bsod. It's basically unstable.

I think the bigger drives are faster, 64G M4 sounds like about right for speed.

You wont get any faster read speeds with A08, it limits the board to SATA II speeds... The read speeds are right for your drive.
