    Hi guys,

I am having a problem with my M14X. I have returned it once already. Basically what happens is that if I plug in my mouse when i restart the computer, it won't start up. So instead of loading up the starting windows screen. It will just be a white line on the top left corner of the screen. I thought that if i returned the first computer and get the second one, the problem would go away. But apparently it is still here. Is there anyway I can fix it other than removing my usb ports everytime? Thanks.

    Regards,
    Kane

maybe the problem is the mouse? I doubt two alienware models would fail both times. Seems like a common denominator to me.

It is a nzxt avatar. I am going to try restarting with another mouse and see if it helps. Thanks.

Make sure there is no Disc or USB Drive plugged on the laptop, and if it isnt try restart with the mouse unplug, if it can get to the logon screen then the prob is the mouse, but if it still unable to get to the logon screen then the prob might be software/hardware interference.

Try system restore to the earlier point.
