    Hi all,
The problem I had once thought I had resolved has returned again with vengeance. It seems to be constant currently rather than intermittently occurring :(. I use Sennheiser HD280 Pro headphones which work fine on my desktop PC (custom build) with a Soundblaster Creative X-Fi Fatality, but on this new laptop (comparing to my Sony Vaio which didn't have crackling noise either) I seem to get this problem. I was wondering if anyone had some ideas I could try, other than of course buying an external sound device that plugs into USB which would have to be a last resort option. Could it be the Realtek sound that is bundled with these laptops by default, in that it's a poor sound card?

For those looking at the specifications of my headphones, go to http://www.sennheiser.co.uk/uk/home...dphones-headsets_headphones_004974?Open&row=2.

Nope, just the default one, Intel I believe? The Sony has a similar audio device as well.

Nobody has any suggestions? I guess the only option is to buy a separate USB sound device then, oh well :(.
