    Cpu core parked?

    i recently went into cpu resource monitor and some of the cores were saying they were parked? just wondered if this is normal?
    i have just disabled turbo boost so wondered if this is anything to do with it

    core parking is enabled by default to ensure maximum power efficiency. Cores that are not in demand are parked. Example, I7 cpu has 8 threads. 4 are parked by default if not required by an application or game. Games that require more threads will not have an issue as the system will unpark the threads and make them active.
