Hello, i was wondering if there's anyone out there who could try swapping a r2 motherboard into an r1. I've heard many things from dell representatives, but no straight answers, and there's only one way to tell right? :D
Please respond to this post if you've given it a shot.

I've read on this forum somewhere that the ports are positioned differently.

    I might be wrong!

R2 motherboards are about 200-300 from what I've heard.

I gaurantee you upgrading is no option... Dell wanted almost 1000$ for a measly CPU upgrade...
