Can anyone compare it to a normal 15.6 inch laptop?

I just want to see how big it really is compared to a 15 incher. I'm mainly looking at this or the G53SW now. I really care about battery and size but if the G53 isn't too much bigger I can suffice maybe :p

while the m14x is big for a 14" laptop, the g53 is massive for a 15" laptop, IMO.

This is compared to a normal 15.6" laptop, not a gaming laptop or an extra portable laptop.

It is about the same weight as your average 15.6" laptop. It is about the same thickness, maybe slightly thicker. It has the same depth (front to back), and it is about 1.5" smaller from left to right.

The G53SW is the same size as the m17x R3 so i think the m14x is pretty much a lot smaller. If you are thinking of G53 it would be a better idea to consider he m17x r3 since it has better battery life and power in a similarly sized chassis. Here is a small comparison between the 3 -

It looks basically like a standard 15" laptop.

I looked up the dimensions compared to my 15" MBP. MBP is an inch wider but also about an inch shorter in depth and .5" thinner. Not bad since the M15x laptop was too big for my tastes.

Oh, well then nah I'll stick with the m14x then. I just thought it was regular sized so I would consider it. Thanks alot erephus! Those pictures are great. It actually looks alot smaller than I thought
