Long story short, there was an error in my order and Bluetooth was not included. If I cancel and re-order, I have to wait up to 15 business days for a CC refund in order to replace a new order.

I noticed on some Sager customization pages that bluetooth was included in wireless card upgrades. I tried googling the Intel 6230+Bluetooth but apparently no one sells it?

    Is there an alternative?

    Thanks in advance :)

Oh, thanks alot! My search parameter included "Bluetooth", so that's why I couldn't find it. I assumed there was a Bluetooth version and non-Bluetooth.

    Thanks alot! +1

Now I'm not so upset anymore that the order error took place.

There are also bluetooth USB dongles as well, just fyi. Thought that kind of defeats the purpose.

Yup. Family member is buying it soon.

It's a great laptop and all, but when I go overseas to do humanitarian aid work (teaching) later this year, I won't truly be covered under warranty. Sagers are only good if you live near your reseller; otherwise, they're not worth it (since you have to deal with your reseller for warranty claims).

Technically you're covered anywhere in the world, but let's say it breaks in Georgia (x-USSR) or Thailand, I'd have to pay 200$+ to ship it to California, wait weeks and then another 200$+ for the reseller to ship it back to me. This also dramatically increases the chances of the laptop being stolen or damaged by the courier service. It's just not worth the risk of it breaking outside Canada/USA. ;)

The laptop has been spectacular as well as the reseller (GenTechPC), but I just can't risk it. Some resellers can ship parts, but shipping the new part across the world and then me shipping the bad part back will cost a substantial amount of money if it's fixable by the user.
