I installed the game on my m14x r1 laptop and everything was fine until when I pressed the game icon and for about 5 seconds i get some loading activity then the screen froze. Is this a common problem that the GPU is getting outdated or not tough enough

Try messing around with the game's resolution settings as well as toggling the fullscreen option if it has one.

Crysis 2 was doing that kind of stuff for me at first.

I remember one time I stopped a game from having lockups just by disabling Pointer Trails in the mouse settings.

People seem to be able to get it to run on the M11x's, so yours should have more than the minimum horsepower.

Nvidia recommends updating to the latest beta driver for playing Black Ops 2.

You can download and install those drivers from here. Make sure that you install with custom settings and check off the box for a fresh install. Hopefully these drivers will help. Let me know if that works for you!
