So I was playing some WoT (world of tank for the guys not in the know) and I had Open Hardware Monitor open. I closed the game after playing for an hour to find that my CPU \ GPU had hit the following temps (see attached).

Should I be concerned at all about these temps? This is a completely stock clock wise on both the GPU and CPU.

I'm thinking maybe maybe a re-paste? I have some Arctic Silver 5 to do it with, or should i contact Dell?

I have the 2 year next day business warranty, so if the thing does blow up they can just replace it but I don't want it to come to that honestly

Any help would be greatly appreciated folks,
    Thanks,
    Brett

shouldn't be much to worry about as long as you keep the fan unblocked so good air flow can go through your system and a cooling pad would make a difference as well.

92C is not as much as mine (well used to be), I use to got it over 99C!!! which is unacceptable, but until I get a laptop cooler, it actually cool down as well.

So for most people here suggest, you should repaste the CPU, or get a laptop cooler like me, but laptop cooler isnt a permanent choice though, but for me because of I dont want to damage component if I do the repaste so I just get the cooler.

Yeah I think I'll be doing a re-paste on the GPU \ CPU.

The way I look at it is, Dell \ Alienware sold me this laptop without a cooler, so really it should function normally without one, and I bought this laptop to be portable, I really don't wanna go lugging around a cooler also, to me that's just impractical.

If this does over heat and die, what are my chances of Dell actually fixing it, I really don't think they could pin this on me to be honest, what are you thoughts?

Laptops need good air flow, if all else fails get a laptop cooler.
