Since my old laptop died I am looking for a new laptop, I dont fancy waiting till like february since I use my laptop alot and therefore I can only afford it through dell finance
    Some questions
Do they whack some extra money on top of the normal payments that you didnt agree to?
Could I use my aunties bank account but speak to them myself since my auntie has the best credit rating but knows nothing about computers.

Actually you may get additional discounts through the Dell FInance, if anything no interest for 12 months...

They will require to speak to your aunt to authorize this, but I'm sure you can work all the details, she just has to approve the ammount with a rep.

I live in the UK, has anyone actually ordered there m14x through dell finance?

Yeah I was just gonna go through all the details of what system I want to make sure they get everything right then my aunt can authorize it.

Do I speak with a normal dell rep for discounts or do I have to try and get discounts through the finance rep?

Speaking to a Dell Rep is the way to go not sure there are actual finance reps, all pricing are handled trhough the sales rep (he may have to put yopu on hold to get approval), he should be able to get you at least a 10% off, however there are 20% off coupons here and there, just hard to find.

I ordered mine with dell finance, 12 mths no financing and discounts on the ram and some of the other upgrades.

Dell financial is pretty easy to use, just make sure to pay it off before the 12 mths is up or the interest rate is a beast... like 19 or 24%

I ordered mine through Dell Finance.

I didn't get the 12 months no interest, infact I called to reduce the interest rate from 26% to 23%.
My M14x was a deal at the time, so maybe that's why I didn't get 12 months no interest?

Anyway I had the money to pay it off, I just went through DFS to raise my credit score. :)

Can I ask for the 12 month 0% interest when I ring up?

Did they offer you it on the phone, did you ask for it or was it just a deal at the time?

    If you finance a house...ok...but a laptop c'mon.

Just save your money and then buy it.

Why wouldn't you finance a laptop? That's the great thing about America! If you don't have the money for it just extend your payments and pay it off before the promo period!
