    Hey gang,
I'm a new M14x owner. I pulled the trigger on getting one after reading all your comments here. So, first of all, thanks. I have a question about bluetooth. I definitely ordered it but I can't seem to find it listed anywhere on the comp. No menu in control panel. No option for turning it on and off. I also can't find any bluetooth devices in the device manager. Please let me know if I'm forgetting to look somewhere obvious. I need to figure out if they left it out of my build.
    Thanks.

Try to use your service tag on the dell-alienware page for drivers, maybe it will show up there.

I looked and there are no bluetooth drivers listed on the dell page: drivers and downloads, under my service tag. But I'm asking what is the best way to see if internal bluetooth is installed on my comp. Where would it be listed specifically in my hardware searches?

after a fresh reinstall of windows the bluetooth icon appears in bottom right corner by default, probably driver is not required

I believe the on/off function is linked with wifi switch

Wouldn't it show up in device manager? Hope it can be turned off separately from the wifi to save battery..

Pressing Fn+F3 brings up a menu where you can switch off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Mobile Broadband or Wireless Display.

    Thanks ConfusedUK,
That was exactly what I needed. I didn't know that if you don't have WiHD and Bluetooth turned on thru Fn-F3 they don't show up on the devices in device manager at all. Now that everything is accounted for I've fallen for my m14x all over again. Thanks everybody.
