    Bios password m14x

    Hi all,


    I would like to protect my m14x with a bios password on start up, but i can't find it anywhere, does someone know how to do this?

    Are you sure that you have check and set a password from the BIOS utility? Press F2 = Setup when starting the computer to enter the BIOS and navigate to the Password tab and you should be able to set a PW from there.

    Yes there is a password for entering the bios but i can't set a password for allowing to start up??

    The M14xR1 have both User and Supervisor password setup, I am having the same issue, only the Supervisor work. I upgrade my BIOS to ver A8. I am still researching this issue.
