    Hello

Im a little confused about what ram upgrade works best with an i5-2410 M14x R1.

The ram I have now is 4GB of stock dell 1333. I've read the thread on ram upgrades and I see that some m14xs can take advantage of 1600 ram, but Im not sure if I will or if that only works with i7's.

Also if I can take advamtage of 1600 ram what kind should I get, Should I get? Should I get a plug n play one or should I just get a regular type and select xmp 1 or 2 in bios.

I know 4GB is usually enough for gaming but I am playing civ 5 on a huge map and I run out of ram when I get to higher turn counts, so I want to upgrade to 8GB and I just want to know what type of RAM will work best.

thanks for the info. What 1600 ram kit would you suggest? I dont know if I should get a plug n play type or if I should get a xmp type of ram.
