Hi everyone, I can overclock my gpu to 745 1490 1080, but I've heard of people overclocking past 800. What is the best BIOS/driver configuration for you guys, or does it have to do with hardware?

I think you'll need an unlocked Voltage BIOS A05 if you want a stable clock past 800/1600 although not all GPU can OC past that clock without crashing/BSOD, and the driver I use was NVIDIA 301.42 WHQL Driver, and this is the only 300 Series driver that doesnt crash on me with the clock speed I had.

For the Unlocked Voltage BIOS, you can download it at Tech|Inferno, thanks to svl7 for providing the BIOS (Dont forget to give him a thanks if it work out for you), but do it at your own risk because I dont think Dell would cover it should something gone wrong as you are using a third party BIOS not Dell's. But as long as you keep monitor the temp of the GPU and keep an eye on those random artefact that appear in game, because those are the sign of unstable clockspeed, worse you'd get a BSOD for that.

One last thing, the program I use to OC the GPU is NVIDIA System Tools, but I recommend you use MSI Afterburner or EVGA Precision if you think the NVST is too complicated.

Basically the unlocked BIOS is just same as the normal BIOS, the different is that the options that should be available on the normal BIOS are all available on the unlocked one, this is the result of Dell lock most of the advance features, I guess it is for preventing some novice users to accidentally change thing and brick the laptop. And this is also same with the unlocked Voltage BIOS.
