Tomorrow I will be traveling and wondering what I should do for the most battery life at the airport and on the plane...otherwise I will be plugged in when I reach my destination (Kauai)

Tip #1: Keep it plugged in at the airport.

Tip #2: Set it to power save mode. Turn AlienFX off. Keep screen as dim as possible.

I wonder if disabling USB3.0 ports will help because apparently for ASUS U-series, they advertised an extra hour from disabling USB3.0.

But yeah, apparently SSD will help ALOT too.

Can also make sure there aren't any unnecessary background processes.

Make sure wifi and things like that are off. If youre just watching movies and such try disabling the trackpad too.

Just go through the AlienSense center and make sure everything is set to maximum battery on Power Saving Mode or a new power plan you create.

I've read the disabling the DVD drive(device manager) can save quite a bit of power too...

Run the Game Booster program, because its job is the turn off those unnecessary programs.
