    Hi,

I play on my m14x regularly for gaming and I would say 95% of the time it is plugged in. I just want to make sure there is no way the battery could fry out from being on the charger too much?

    Feedback appreciated,
    Thanks

    I would recommend,

    - Drain the battery till it has around 40% charge left
    - Disable battery charging in the BIOS
    - Do a full power cycle (Drain it completely and charge it completely) atleast once every 2 weeks.

Supposedly newer batteries have their own fail safe so that they don't over charge or that the cells in the battery don't die out but I don't believe it.

Regardless you can just leave it in connected as long as you want without doing what I said and if the battery dies within a year, dell will replace it with a new one cause they shouldn't die.
