I got a brand new M14x Alienware. It worked well, I installed some games (Portal, Team Fortress) which played great. Then I had the idea to download every windows update and the latest GPU update directly on Dell.com (267.21, A01). After that, I can't play to anymore game. When I start any game or any application that activate the nvidia GPU, it crashes and I get a BSOD which is due to the nvlddmkm.sys driver. I don't know what to do and I need your help.

    My configuration is:
    AW M14X
    6GB DDR3 at 1600MHz
    Intel Core i7 2630QM 2.0GHz
NV GeForce GT555M 1.5GB VRAM (without OC)
    750GB 7,200RPM SATA-II HDD

I used the "F12/diagnostics", it says everything is OK, but I'm not sure if it looks for both GPU or only the Intel one.

Have you tried reinstalling the Nvidia driver from Dell with a clean install?

This definitely sounds driver related to me

Have you try Googling it? Because I think this is a common problem and old one as well, so I guess using Google might be more useful than in here.

I can suggest one, here is from SevenForums, which they usually deal with the BSOD: SevenForums Crashes and Debugging Section If you dont have an account, create one, and post a thread there and be sure to read This before post because it can make the process easier and faster.
