So I recently installed the 285.38 driver to play the BF3 beta (which honestly wasn't worth it and the 280.26 wasn't working with it).
Now my computer BSODs every time I put it to sleep.

    WhoCrashed Crash Dump Analysis:

    crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\101511-18829-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: nvlddmkm.sys (nvlddmkm+0x162381)
    Bugcheck code: 0x19 (0x20, 0xFFFFFA80093E9B40, 0xFFFFFA80093E9B60, 0x402000A)
    Error: BAD_POOL_HEADER
    file path: C:\Windows\system32\drivers\nvlddmkm.sys
product: NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 285.38
    company: NVIDIA Corporation
description: NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 285.38
Bug check description: This indicates that a pool header is corrupt.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem. This might be a case of memory corruption. More often memory corruption happens because of software errors in buggy drivers, not because of faulty RAM modules.
A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: nvlddmkm.sys (NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 285.38 , NVIDIA Corporation).
Google query: nvlddmkm.sys NVIDIA Corporation BAD_POOL_HEADER

Does anyone have a fix for this?
Or will I have to install a different driver?
If so what driver do you suggest I use?
I'd prefer not to have to inf mod for 280.26 again and the stock drivers wouldn't work with any of my games.

Also oddly enough the 285.38 driver is no longer the driver suggested on the nvidia site, it has gone back to the 280.26 one.

[Edit forgot about 285.27, giving that a try and will report back]

Edit 2: Get a "could not find compatible graphics hardware" error. Thought the 285.xx drivers didn't need a modded inf...?
Edit 3: Can't access the Nvidia control panel either, I'm guessing the new driver messed up real bad. Fantastical.
Edit 4: Reflashed my BIOS, now we're back in business, installing 285.27
Edit 5: No luck, still get a BSOD with 285.27, on the bright side the video card shows up in the device manager again.

Just sitting at 285.38 and guess I'm just not gonna sleep until I find a fix...
Also a very noticeable dip in performance from my M14x, solid.

How about back to the 275.33 version? This sound quite similar to a guy whom his MOBO is faulty, until they replace his MOBO that the problem will go away, I'll link that one up for your reference to see if it is same to you.
