So I use IGFX on my M18xR2 all the time and get 3 hours of battery under moderate usage.

My girlfriend's M14xR2 gets 2 hours under similar usage.

I flashed the unlocked BIOS and found that it also has SG/IGFX mode, so I switched to IGFX mode.

However, there seems to be some weird issues. It was working fine for a few hours but after entering sleep mode, the laptop now always freezes at the password screen.

Going back to SG mode fixed the issue for now. Should I reinstall windows or does IGFX not properly work on these models?

Not that it would make any sense but maybe the iGFX need to reinstalled after switching the display method?

Just an off the cuff thought, since when I switch display method on the Ranger it would reinstall the driver upon reboot.
