*GUIDE* -Unofficial AW fan control- - Alienware Arena Forums

Control your fan speeds? Anyone want to test? I would but I'm about to go to bed.

I am using it but not the latest version.

I can only either max the fan or off it which is good enough for me since I will normally just max the fan speed with I am gaming

I would like to try this. But what is the maximum RPM fan can handle without breaking it?

Just bumped up each 10 degrees to run at like 500 RPM's faster except 80+, I didn't want to exceed the set max, which is 4500 RPM. Gearsguy has nads enough to exceed that I see.

Anyways, the max on the official version (and the m14x absolute max) is 5600RPM, although the program shows 7000. The beta only shows 4200RPM, which is Bios A05 limit. So yeah, I used to set it to max on the official version and it dropping about 100rpm every few minutes or so until it just stayed at 4200RPM, BIOS overriding it again. I switched to BIOS A03 again now because Im tired of messing with it.

Then why arent all links removed? Theres a thread on another site, that is also a tutorial, that pertains to the following topic: Alienware Fan Control. Im not advertising, Im trying to add to the conversation. Appears links to other sites are only allowed in the signature though.
