    • When i alt-tab from a game (windowed or not) my laptop sometimes slows down to unplayable FPS levels. Just then it brought WoW down from 80FPS to 15FPS and i had a slow/unresponsive mouse after i alt-tabbed.
    • I also noticed the CPU usage drops down to really low, less than 10% or so.
    • I have High performance nvidia processor enabled for all my games.
This only happens occasionally but it is consistent happening a couple times a week.

I've looked around a lot but i havn't found anyone with the same problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Edit- Here is a picture i took while it was slowed down.

Try some of the suggestions in this thread

They seem to suggest raising the Max Background FPS slider to around 60 (in the advanced tab) or disabling hardware acceleration. If you have any flash applications (like YouTube and others) or other programs that use hardware acceleration (like Chrome), i would try disabling this option

    Thank you for helpful thread.

I've disabled hardware acceleration in flash and ill take a look at background settings when WoW lets me log in. Tho this also happens with LoL, not WoW specific.

If it happens again ill update, cheers.
