so if i understand correctly it just shuts itself off when the jitters starts? if that is the case you may be able to find some detail in the event viewer under system logs. look at the time as the jitter starts and after you reboot check the log for system events during that time. seeing as the system does a "proper shutdown" rather than just rebooting the cause is most likely logged.
    hope that helps, good luck!

So about 10 mins before midnight on new years eve the Motherboard in my R2 went completely dead. I just got it replaced by a Dell service tech at my office today and as I feared, the 2133 ram that worked perfect in my 1st motherboard would no longer run @2133 once it was replaced :( I put the stock ram back in before the tech came because I didn't want to get some bag that might try to blame it on the ram and hassle me about it. Luckily, I got sent a cool tech unlike most of my previous onsite service calls. but no matter, its not like they are going to replace it again because it doesn't over-perform as well as the last one. I haven't tried much screwing with settings but set as my last one was, it will not run. ill let anyone interested know if i can find a reason...

so after playing around in the BIOS RAM options I was able to get my HyperX kit running @ 2133. at first it was giving me problems, then I upped the voltage to 1.55 and set it manually @ 2133 and it started working. puzzled by it needing an additional .05 volts, I decided to load the BIOS optimal defaults. I then went in and changed my RAM settings to match the config from the old motherboard (set manually @ 2133, 1.5 volt, default timings) and it is now working again :).
for those with issues running high speed RAM you may want to try resetting the BIOS defaults or kicking the voltage up a notch.
