You can disable the third party option found in the Notification/Hidden icon area, right click on the little Alien Head then unchecked " Enable 3rd Party AlienFX Access ", after that when you launch BF3, your AlienFX stay the same as normal.

Yeah thats a feature of AlienFX, it's compatible with some games and it makes the light change with the game.

Love the new BF3 lights myself. Pure pink floyd laser show on my keyboard. Love it!

    It's a great feature - especially in a pitch black room :D

I like that feature, it's amazing at the sight but I had an issue a few days ago. I was playing BF3 and the keyboard's lights was pulsing as usual, but then they start to turn on and off like flashing lights or like the alienhead when the battery is almost empty while pulsing as always. That freak me out and quit the game. After that all was normally but idk why that happens.

PS: Sorry for my bad english.

Its a great feature but sometimes it can't keep up with action, this is even more obvious when listening to music.
