    Alienware M14x troubles with AlienFX

    Hey guys,

    Alright so I am having troubles with my Alienware M14x's AlienFX, or should I say AlienFX in general. I have never used a program before that is so hit or miss. Sometimes I will open it up and itll work exactly how it is supposed to but more often then not it screws up. On my M18x it isnt as bad but I still have troubles with it from time to time, but on my M14x it is horrendous.

    Examples include whenever I change the profiles, I have to change to a different profile, then back to the profile I want before the keys will actually change colour. If I want to edit a section into a different colour sometimes it can take more then a few goes before it will actually change. But regardless, no matter how many times I save the profile, after a restart guarenteed it will just revert to the standard colours anyway. Then itll change back to the profile I saved after a lengthy wait, sometimes it won't change at all.

    All this I can barely live with but the most frustrating thing is no matter what I do, I cannot change the colour of the power button. It has been blue since I purchased it and will not change. Even if I load profiles that say it should be red it will just stay blue.

    Is anyone else having as much trouble with AlienFX? Am I using it wrong or is a fresh install the only way to make it work properly?
