This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Alienware M14x slightly too expensive :(

    Is there anyway to get the M14x for any cheaper? I have been looking at various laptops and must admit that the M14x is quite appealing. However, with only $1000 to spend, the M14x is $200 too expensive.

    Easy, save up $200 more. Shouldn't take too long. Other than that, you can call Dell and try to talk them down.

    ^Yeah, also watch out for sales and coupon codes.

    Do I think they'd go down $200? Eh...maybe. I find they tend to offer more money off on upgrades than they do stock machines, but it is worth a shot.
