I have problem with my Dell Alienware M14x R1 WIndows 7 Home Premium 64bit (original windows from dell).

the problem is after reisntall windows 7 64bit and also install all driver (i downloaded from dell.com) i have problem with performance on my laptop its like down performance like before reisntall. and when i see on performance information and tool on windows 7 i just get score 4.1 (like on picture) because my 1st score is 7.9 and on windows information my nvidia not detected, but driver already installed and also on bios already detected.

if im using new nvidia driver from nvidia website score will be change with result 3.7 but if i change the driver and install the old driver from dell.com i mean the 1st version of the driver (like on picture) i just got 4.6 please help me to fix this problem and get my old score 7.9 and also setting my laptop to normal again. thanks.

Sometimes scores are unreliable. If you experience fps drops on gaming then there is something wrong.

Also your CPU score is very low for some reason.

Not really sure if I can help much but I'll try.
    Check if:
Is the CPU undervolted? Did you use Power setting to Power Saver?
What is your CPU temperature. Is it running hot?

Try disabling intel speedstep in the bios. As for monitoring temps, use HwInfo64. Do not use your hand to gauge temperature ;)

i already disable it bro. and the score is still 4.6 :(
but i want to ask something important, if speedstep disable is that no problem for laptop performance? i mean no adverse influence performance for my M14x?

Well, you can enable it now since it does not make any difference. :( I would not worry too much about WEI scores to be honest.

edit: try using PEG only in BIOS instead of SG

Let us know the temperature of the CPU once you check it. Here's a small guide.

It means PCI express graphics slot. But if it is not in the bios, fn+f5 should switch between dedicated and optimus.

Sorry bro, I checked the service manual and no mux indeed. The only way to disable switchable graphics is in the bios.

No, I think SG and PEG option requires that you use an unlocked sbios. :)

PEG means no optimus. SG means switchable graphics. :) By the way, have you tried using 3dmark11/3dmark13 to determine if your physics score is correct? WEI is not a good indicator of processor performance.
